Job Description
Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 5-10 Sales Executives and ensure that the team is meeting the monthly/quarterly sales targets set by the company. The manager will implement the sales strategy designed by the management team and manage the sales efforts from concept to completion. The performance of sales manager will be judged by his/her ability to meet the sales target assigned to his/her team.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success and must be able to provide references and proof of past achievements.

Skills Required

  • MBA in Sales, Marketing or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a manager performing similar duties.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to read/write & speak in English fluently.
  • Must have a pleasing personality with convincing skills.
  • Prior experience in selling software solutions to organizations in various industries is required. Experience in selling to Healthcare, Manufacturing, Technology and Education verticals is a plus.
  • Must have a good understanding of the Indian Market and must have a proven track record of success in India.
  • Ability to manage the sales team using latest technology solutions that include CRM, Project Management tools etc.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to produce extensive sales reports on a regular basis to provide visibility into the sale process to the senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales team using latest technology solutions that include CRM, Project Management tools etc.
  • Meet the monthly/quarterly revenue targets for the entire team as set by the management.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports on weekly basis and provide full visibility into the sales process.
  • Work within the allocated budget and resources and use the marketing collaterals effectively to boost the sales.
  • Prepare action plans for individuals as well as for the team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
